Do you believe in God???

One night a man had a dream, he dreamed he was walking along the beach with the God. And he saw two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to him and other to the God. When he looked back at the footprints in the sand, he noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints and this happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned the God about it. "God, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But u left me at the most troublesome times of my life. Whenever I needed you the most, you left me alone. Why?????????"

New Life

Finally the wait has ended and I got my joining....yippee !!!!!!!! This will be my first job of life. People have started wishing "All the best for ur new life!!!!!" Notice the word "new life" here, as if there are many lives to live. Well, this word is properly used. Its a fact we live so many lives in one life. Each life has its own taste and colors. Ever memorized the part of life u have already lived....each of these lives has given so many memories. Some to regret and some to be cherished. Also while living one life, we are actually deciding our next life side by side. Our future depends upon our present. So live wisely and choose ur next life wisely.....:)

An assemblage of the most gifted minds in the world were all posed the following question:
"What is 2 * 2 ?"

The chemist says immediately around 10 to the power 1.

Most of the people think science to be devoid of humor. Consider of any professor of science especially physics or maths. The image at once coming to mind is of a serious person wearing thick spectacles. Most of them are always serious. They laugh rarely as if the subject has sucked their life....Physics never says don't laugh neither mathematics says so. Then why people think of these subjects to be totally lifeless. Being a physics student I don't want to come under this category of serious persons. Rather I would like to come under the category of lively persons just like one of my best friends Geeti...who even being a research scholar in Physics is so lively and having a good sense of humor...There are some more examples also of such people working in these so called lifeless and boring fields....but a few to be counted...So through this post I m just trying to find some humor in these subjects....through some jokes or comic one liners in science...If u have any good jokes related to science then most welcome..

1)An engineer, physicist, and mathematician were sitting together. A fire breaks out.

The engineer start to calculate how much water it takes to put out the fire.

The physicist figures out the best theory on how to put out the fire.

The mathematician tries to prove the fire doesn't exist.

Leave footprints

Today when I told my friend about my blog SarTaaJ, at once I got a question to answer - Why this name for the blog? Is this something related to "on top of the world!!!!!!!" .....hmmmmmmm..... Actually this word is a nick of our family, the word contains initial letters of my family members...of course when I am with my family I feel like on top of the world... :)

Whenever we are with people whom we love we feel happy whether they are our friends or family. But in the race of getting success, gradually we are getting away from our nears and dears. Though we see them all the time near to us but are they really near to us. Do we really understand them? Now think and try to answer these given questions:

1) Name the five richest people in the world.

2) Name the last five miss universe winners.

3) Name the last ten noble prize winners.

4) Name the last ten winners of best actor oscars.

Can't do it? Rather difficult. Isn't it? Don't worry. Nobody remembers that.

Applause dies away, trophies gather dust, winners are soon forgotten.....

Now answer these questions:

1) Name three teachers who contributed to your education.

2) Name three friends who helped you in the hour of need.

3) Think of few people who made you feel special.

4) Name five people that you like to spend time with.

More managable? Its easier. Isn't it?

The people who mean something to your life are not rated "the best", don't have the most money, haven't won the greatest prizes- They are the ones who care about you, take care of you and those who, no matter what, stay close by.

Think about it for a moment. Life is very short!!!

Most important thing in life is to help others to win. Even if that means changing our own race. Many people come into our life and go, but only a few of them leave thier footprints on our memories. So be like those people and get immortal.. :)

Time to be happy

A few days back I got a mail from my friend which was about happiness. It was actually conveying a message that happiness is a voyage not a destination. We always look for happiness in things far away from us, but in this race we cant see happiness surrounding us. Right from our childhood we convince ourselves that life will be better once we grow up. We get into a good college from school. Then again we get frustrated to get good jobs, getting that we again get frustrated to perform better, to have a car, to have vacations etc. etc. This way we keep on dragging our happiness to future and our present remain devoid of it. So instead of lingering on our time to get happy, we should understand that there is no time to be happy than right now. If not now then when?

Whenever we feel that real life is about to start, we find some obstacle on the way, an ordeal to get through, some work to be finished, some time to be given, some bill to be paid. Then life would start.....But finally we need to understand that these obstacles are the life. And there is no road to happiness but happiness is the road. So enjoy every moment and stop waiting before deciding to be happy.... :)

Friendship with life

After thinking so much finally I decided to create my own blog SarTaaJ. The main thoughts coming in my mind before starting the blog were Where to start, what to write, who will read etc etc. Is this a lack of self-confidence? Or lack of courage? Or both? May be both..... Then finally thought to start writing down my thoughts without considering anything else. Its really a great feeling to see your thoughts in form of words in front of you. Congrats to me.. :)
Well all of us wanna succeed in our life. Whatever we do we want success in that. After all its basic human nature.. :) But how to define a successful person? He who has earned a lot of name and fame in life? Or He who is contented with his life. And how to compare who is more successful in his life. All these things ultimately revolve around the idea of life. All of us are living our lives in our own ways. And majority of us have complaints also about our lives. I have never seen any person (except sadhu baba's and saints) satisfied from his/her life whether its a school going child or a retired person. Why??? Lets try to find it out without going into philosophy or any impractical n boring :P discussion. For that we should first know what this Life is?? There are so many answers to this, but none of them is complete. Now first we have to solve this problem. But how? Now consider a very practical n simple situation: If you want to know a person completely then you will try to do friendship with the person. Likewise if we wanna know about life we need to do friendship with life...."Friendship with Life !!!!!!!!!" Isn't it getting too complicated like the concept of relativity in physics class.. :) ?? I guess yes... ;) So without going into any impractical discussion, lets start from the first step to make friendship with life. That is Accept everything whatever comes to your way with a sweet smile. Dont frown or blame. Lets see what happens.....just try...!!!!!!!!!
